1. Accessibility goal
BACKON is intended for ordinary technology users, including older customers and people with disabilities. We aim to design the website and support process around recognized accessibility principles, including the direction of WCAG 2.2 Level AA, while not claiming formal certification or perfect conformance.
2. Website design practices
- readable typography and strong foreground/background contrast;
- keyboard-accessible navigation and form controls;
- visible labels rather than placeholder-only forms;
- a skip-to-content link on primary pages;
- responsive layouts that work at mobile widths and browser zoom;
- reduced-motion support where animation is decorative; and
- critical information that does not depend solely on hover, animation or color.
3. Support communication alternatives
If the website form is difficult to use because of an accessibility need, email support@backon.net and tell us the communication method or accommodation that would help. We will try to provide a reasonable alternative within the channels available to us.
4. Remote-support accessibility
Customers can ask the technician to slow down, explain steps in plain language or pause while they use assistive technology. We should not require a customer to surrender control of the session simply because they need an accommodation.
5. Third-party tools
Some payment, remote-support or external software interfaces are operated by third parties and may have accessibility characteristics outside BACKON’s direct control. Tell us if a third-party step creates a barrier so we can consider an available alternative.
6. Reporting an accessibility barrier
Send the page URL, device/browser (if known) and a short description of the problem to support@backon.net. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or unnecessary health information.
7. Ongoing review
Accessibility is reviewed alongside responsive layout, form usability, keyboard access and reduced-motion behavior as the site changes.
